This means that soon everything will be done by robots of which each and every one in PR industry should try to meet halfway with magnificent skills. Protect your job, you do not need to visit a nearby traditional healer for lucky herbs but with your skills you can create a huge difference and be saved from daily changes that are shaking the world of PR like an earthquake. It is really distressing and threatening the jobs of PR professionals and the society knowing that every day you will wake up and discover a new way of doing things. Uwe (2020) explains that future trends and innovations are simply the technological changes that might take control in the world in the next coming years. These are basically new ideas, methods and ways of doing things.

These changes that are taking place on a daily basis have a massive power to affect thousands of organizations in a very bad way. They include artificial intelligence (Al) which is the use of robots to do technological activities that can be done by people (Ian (2024). It further provides computer program the power to think and learn on its own such as ChatGPT which are used the most in PR industry as they assist with communicating effectively and efficiently.  Followed by personalized digital platforms that can be used to pass the messages to the public in a clear and concise way with no mistakes without PRP's having to draft the message. Moreover, the use of social media platforms that lead to misinformation is increasing daily as it is the only easiest way of sharing current news. According to Nabeel (2023) the rise in the number of influencers that plays a significant role in advertising for public relations organizations products and services on social media can be a threat in PR industry. This really calls for PRP's to be open minded, develop new impactful skills that can make any organization a better place.

Though technological changes can be seemed like the changes that can cause problems only, but they can be of benefit. The artificial intelligence can assist PRP's to avoid making mistakes when drafting certain press releases or reports as they can use it for grammar errors. It can also assist them in getting fast responses to keep the work going and with choosing the best strategy and the right audiences to deal with a certain issue. Nabeel, (2023) proposes that they can further improve the organization's performance as no employee will have issues when sending the message to the public. There will be personalized digital platforms that will ensure that publics receives a clear message with a clear vision that will draw the audience's attention. The use of social media platforms will increase the number of stakeholders in PR industry which is a good thing also makes communication much easier.

Challenges posed by these technological changes in PR industry

Whether or not it is believed that all of these changes are making employees lazy especially the robots' presence as they will rely on them to do the work on the last minutes.  According to KAMILA, (2023) soon PRPs might lose their jobs as there will be machines all over the world to do the work that they can do, due to their smartest ability which can make the tasks easier. If social media platforms are consumed in this way, people will end up not knowing what to believe due to the much information received as there is competition everywhere (HANSON, K. (2023).  Therefore, it will be very vital for PRPs to overcome these challenges by coming up with different strategies to adapt to these changes. They should be able to cope and move with the trends, do not allow to be left behind also ensure that they keep in mind people's needs. They should also prepare early for these types of changes so that they can be able to survive in future and prevent theft because their jobs will be gone if they do not meet revolution halfway.
